Wow I had no clue!

I have always thought that the American troops that stormed the beaches during WWII were capitalists and a lot of those American WWII troops supported segregation. Who knew that those American troops in WWII were all reading the works Peter Kropotkin this entire time?!

The WWII US military was so racist they made the UK feel uncomfortable. They bigotly didn't even want to let African Americans serve in combat units. Possibly even more racist than the Army was around the days of the Civil War.

It's nuts how all of the white men fought the NDSAP for racial equality but then came home and supported a segregated society.

Given how comically evil NDSAP Germany, Imperial Japan, Fascist Italy were it made the US and the UK Empire become heroes of the story.

Ive heard this talking point in some rightoid channels and gun channels that “The real anti fascists were storming the beaches of normandy with rifles”, it is such an odd connection to make. I guess the real anti-fascists also strangely didn’t like when black people used the same water fountain back then.

The whole "we are against the NDSAP scum, therefore we are good" type of thinking is universally lame. It's laughable to see it leak into the discourse on both sides depending on what part of the world you are living in--Eastern Europeans and Russian governments and nationalists are still very much into maligning whatever they're going against now politically in Western Europe as "fascists". It even finds its way into Vladimir Putin’s speeches at times.

There is a huge propaganda movement against fascism, since it's the only form of government to threaten the liberal 2.0 order.

I am so not a fascist because I believe that it's impossible to have consistent competent rulers (and because fascism sucks). Fascism sucks also because it correlates with homophobia. So Homofascism seems less bad than Fascism.

If I had to put a name on what I would settle for over Liberal 2.0 order, it would be some form of strong willed, non emotional, indifferential  oligarchic proto democratic rule. See then? Well that's more than somewhat what I would want more than Liberal 2.0 order, except restrain the keys to the bedtof society to people who succeed at overachieving and wisdom (via performative competency)   as opposed to it being given at birth.

Maybe something in the ballpark of this as less bad than Liberal 2.0 order. Though I would want this to be a feminine democracy with Left Wing tyranny
